Upcoming Behind the Scenes:March 24, 2010- 8:30 a.m. at WMBF News
April 14, 2010-9:30 a.m. at Benjamin's Bakery
What is Behind the Scenes?
This new networking event combines making contacts while learning about unique businesses along the Grand Strand. Hosted by different Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce businesses at their locations, members get a Behind the Scenes look at their fellow member businesses all while enjoying small group networking.
Can my business host a Behind the Scenes?
Yes! To be considered as a host location, your business must be able to show a true "behind the scenes" look of your business to attendees. A host is encouraged to give tours, presentations, share a unique program, etc. and offer attendees an experience that they could not get if they just walked in the door.
What else does my business have to provide to be a host?
The business must complete the Host Interest Form. Host must provide snacks and beverages for attendees. The event lasts one hour including networking and behind the scenes, so the presentation must be limited to 20 minutes. The number of attendees, date and time of event is up to the host business. The business can pick the time that works best for them and the number of attendees they can accommodate.
