- Quarterly Law Update on Feb. 23 at 7:30-9 a.m at 1200 N. Oak Street.. Presented by Nexsen Pruet, LLC Employers in 2012 need to consider revising or implementing certain personnel policies due to recent court decisions or new laws. There are some revisions in the new year that employers should be aware of.
Horry Georgetown Technical College is offering a three part series titled "Sales and Service = Success" that use improvisational and role play activities to improve your sales and customer service skills while having fun! Choose to take any of the three courses individually or sign up for all three and receive a deal!
- Relationship Based Selling, Part One on February 15 from 9-11 a.m. at HGTC Grand Strand Campus. Learn ways to improve your listening skills and actively participate to learn the basics of relationship based selling.
- Stages of Selling (The Selling Process), Part Two on February 22, 9-11:30 a.m. at HGTC Grand Strand Campus. Learn about the SPIN selling® model to help you make your sale!
- Value and Service Based Selling (Strategic Selling), Part Three on February 29, 9-11:30 a.m. at HGTC Grand Strand Campus. Discuss the importance of presenting a "service culture" in your organization and take part in role play activities to reinforce customer service skills.

Organizational Leadership.....Discover the Path to Your Vision- An Executive Management program of the Industry Institutes at HGTC, Wednesdays, February 8-April 25 from 8-11:30 a.m. at HGTC Grand Strand Campus Conference Center
This program targets: Current leaders that seek to strengthen their knowledge and skills to be more effective in their leadership roles as well as enhancing their current organization. They may not have direct reports but are key decision makers and influential in their organization.
Program Description: Three month program in which participants meet twice a month for a three and a half hour session in the morning. Cost is $299 per person for the entire program. For a complete schedule download here (.pdf).
