Public Comments Accepted for Shoreline Change Report

In 2007 two state agencies - S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and the Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM) - initiated a re-evaluation of beachfront/coastline management issues to guide public policy. The Shoreline Change Advisory Committee was formed to lead this effort. The committee's recommendations, made public in a recent report, could directly impact our community and our local economy.
