Myrtle Beach Going Green
Check out the chamber's new Going Green Web site for info on ways you can save energy, recycle and help the environment. There are lots of events during the month of March to help you start going green.
49th annual Canadian-American Days Festival
This year, from March 13-21, the Myrtle Beach area will greet Canadian and American visitors with a lineup of fun events, giveaways, discounts and concerts taking place throughout the Grand Strand. Kickoff Celebration Expo on March 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The event is free and open to the public. The expo will showcase MBACC businesses plus there will be lots of door prizes, music and entertainment. RBC Bank also is a presenter of three free military concerts: The 282nd Army Band on March 15; 208th Army Reserve Band on March 19 and the United States Navy Band on March 20. In addition to the concerts, events include the 2nd annual Canada vs. U.S.A. Battle at the Beach golf tournament, a South Strand Can-Am Reception, the 3rd annual Snowbird Games, the 2nd annual Fabulous 50s Festival, amusement discounts and more. 2010 Restaurant & Business Expo
The 2010 Restaurant & Business Expo will be held April 28 from 4-8 p.m. at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel. The expo is free and open to the public. Food and beverage prices will range from $1-$3. During the entire 2010 Restaurant & Business Expo, businesses will not only be showcasing their products and services but restaurants will be serving up samples of their mouthwatering dishes. Businesses (nonrestaurant exhibitors) can purchase booth space for only $175. You will receive a 10-by-10 pipe and draped area, an 8-foot skirted table, two chairs and a business name sign. A double booth space, 10-by-20, runs $325. Register for a booth by April 14.
Early-Bird Registration for Restaurants - Save $275!
Member restaurants that serve samples of their dishes during the expo and register before April 14 will receive free registration ($275 value) and obtain 50 percent of their ticket sales revenue. Only 30 restaurant exhibitor spaces available first come, first serve. Registration includes a 10-by-20 pipe and draped area, 16-foot skirted table, four chairs, business name sign and 120V electrical outlet.

Managing Your Customer Service Delivery
