Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

A grand opening, an expansion, an anniversary or a move to a new facility is made more special with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. If you're a home-based business, give us a call and we'll hold a special ceremony here at the chamber just for you!

There are many benefits to having a ribbon-cutting ceremony for your business. Ribbon-cutting announcements and photos are included in the online edition of the chamber's popular newsletter, the Grand Strander. A press release and photo announcing your ribbon cutting will be sent to local media after the event. The chamber's ambassadors attend ribbon-cutting ceremonies on behalf of the members. Ribbon-cuttings are scheduled Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Your chamber is happy to help plan a ribbon-cutting ceremony for your business. It's a value-added benefit included in your membership dues.

An added bonus for this year is a second option for only $99, an upgraded ribbon-cutting ceremony.  The ceremony will include stanchions, press release to all local media, plaque commemorating the day, bows, Live on Facebook and guaranteed picture in the Grand Strander, plus the added advantages.

Kickoff a grand opening of your business by contacting Shannon H. Furtick, membership retention and services manager, at (843) 916-7240 or email.

To maximize this unique opportunity to spread the word about your business and get locals in, here are some tips and tricks.
