Second Subsea Cable to Connect in Myrtle Beach

DC Blox announced plans for a second subsea cable in Horry County. The Cable Landing Station in the International Technology and Aerospace Park (iTAP) in Myrtle Beach currently under construction by DC Blox is expected to open June 2023. This second cable is owned by Edge Cable Holdings USA, a subsidiary of Meta, and will connect Myrtle Beach to Spain.

Myrtle Beach Lands on List of America’s Best Performing Cities

The Milken Institute listed Myrtle Beach as the No. 12 best-performing city in a report evaluating 200 cities across the United States in May. The cities were ranked based on 12 metrics including broadband access, labor market conditions, high-tech impact and housing affordability.
