Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful will honor national 9/11 Day of Service with a beautification project at Warbird Park on Farrow Parkway in Myrtle Beach on Sept. 11, 2024, at 8 a.m.

Volunteers are needed to spruce up the park’s stone planter box by removing weeds and planting flowers as well as removing any litter from nearby roadways. The City of Myrtle Beach is donating the mulch and Capital Waste Services is providing the flowers.

Following the service project, the City of Myrtle Beach will hold its annual September 11th Remembrance Ceremony at 10 a.m. at the park.

The events of 9/11 and the heroism of first responders inspire communities across the country to participate in various service projects through the support of the 9/11 Day nonprofit, AmeriCorps and other local organizations.
