Five MBACC Investors Named Among SC Chamber’s ‘2021 Best Places to Work’ List

MYRTLE BEACH – South Carolina Chamber of Commerce (SC Chamber) recently named 81 businesses to their list of “2021 Best Places to Work in South Carolina.” Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce MBACC is pleased to announce five of its investors were named to this list.

Medium Employer Category (50-249 U.S. employees)

  • The Brandon Agency
  • Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union
  • First Reliance Bank
  • Mashburn Construction

Large Employer Category (250 or more U.S. employees)

  • Edward Jones

“The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is delighted to see that five of our investors have been recognized by SC Chamber as one of the state’s best places to work in 2021. Especially after the past year, we know how important it is to provide a workplace that’s suitable for all employees. And when you create an environment where your employees thrive, so will your business,” said MBACC President and CEO Karen Riordan.

To identify the state’s top-notch employers, SC Chamber partnered with the publishers of SCBIZ and the Best Companies Group for the 16th consecutive year to conduct the selection process.

Best Companies Group performs a simple, yet thorough company assessment designed to gather detailed information about workplaces. Employers complete an in-depth questionnaire and employees have the opportunity to offer their honest feedback by taking part in a companywide survey. The survey focuses on eight areas of a workplace: Leadership and Planning; Corporate Culture and Communications; Role Satisfaction; Work Environment; Relationship with Supervisor; Training, Development and Resources; and Pay and Benefits.

A full list of all the businesses that made the list, can be found online.
