Heather Edwards Joins MBACC
With six years of bookkeeping experience, Edwards previously worked for a start-up company and a local church. Her most recent employment was with MBACC as a temporary employee in finance.
As accounting specialist, Edwards oversees billing, accounts payable, vendor management, contracts, and more.
Edwards serves on the board of directors for The Coast RTA and is a member of Grand Strand Young Professionals.
Born and raised in North Myrtle Beach and currently living in Carolina Forest, Edwards shares her home with her loving cat, Kitty.
Edwards earned an associate degree in accounting from Horry Georgetown Technical College, a bachelor’s in psychology from Coastal Carolina University, and is currently working on her MBA at CCU. Edwards was recently invited to be a member of CCU’s Student Executive Leaders (SEL) Program. The SEL Program consists of students selected to be role models for the business student body. Entrance into SEL is by invitation only.
