MBACC Presents Business Strategies for Surviving and Thriving During COVID-19

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The North Strand, South Strand and West of the Waterway Councils of Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) will present a virtual series titled Business Strategies for Surviving and Thriving During COVID-19.

“Each of these virtual educational sessions are geared toward helping all of our area businesses build back stronger as we eagerly move into the recovery phase of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Karen Riordan, MBACC president and CEO.

The first session, A Look Back and a Look Forward, will take place on March 18, 2021, at 9 a.m. Fran Watkins Marshall, director of the Office of Applied Science and Community Engagement for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, will cover lessons learned over the past year, our path forward and the continued need for basic precautions.  

Part two of the series is planned for April 8 at 9 a.m. Pete DiMaio, director of Client Success at Fuel, will present Business Messaging During a Pandemic. DiMaio will detail ways to communicate with potential customers and clients to make sure they feel safe at your business.  

The final part of this virtual series is set to take place on April 22 at 9 a.m. and look at the financial perspective of COVID. A Disaster Preparedness Forum is also set for May 13 and will include a panel of leading area experts on disaster response. More details for both events will be available soon.
