Meet Your Chamber Ambassadors

Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors work to engage new investors by extending the hand of friendship. Our devoted volunteers welcome new local businesses through ribbon-cuttings, greet individuals at networking events and visit investors to make sure they are getting the most out of their chamber investment.

Tell us about your business and the role you play in it.
McGriff is the fifth largest insurance broker and is a subsidiary of Truist Financial. I enjoy helping my clients protect their most valuable assets.

What do you love about being a chamber ambassador?
I love being able to help the chamber promote, protect and improve. I love getting the opportunity to learn about all of our areas businesses.

What's your favorite thing to do in Myrtle Beach?    
It’s a tie between relaxing on the beach and shopping.       

How did you choose your job/field of work?     
I fell into the insurance field and I wouldn't change it for the world.

How long have you lived on the Grand Strand?        
I moved to the area in 2010 for a more relaxed lifestyle.  

How do you (or your business) give back to the community?        
I love to volunteer! I serve on various committees and boards throughout our community and I wouldn't be able to do it without the support of McGriff/Truist.

Anything else you want to share about yourself?
I am married and have two teen boys and a fur baby yorkie. I love to collect antiques.
