Meet Your Chamber Ambassadors

Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors work to engage new investors by extending the hand of friendship. Our devoted volunteers welcome new local businesses through ribbon-cuttings, greet individuals at networking events and visit investors to make sure they are getting the most out of their chamber investment.

Tell us about your business and the role you play in it.
WTS is a 40-year-old innovative technology company providing a full range of IT, life safety, security, and telecommunications solutions for businesses in North and South Carolina with leading-edge technology and customer-focused solutions.       

My job at WTS is to consult with clients to understand their business needs and provide best-in-class technology solutions that add value, increase productivity, and improve business performance.         

What do you love about being a chamber ambassador?    
The opportunity to meet and develop new friendships with chamber investors and learn more about the products and services offered by area businesses.        

What's your favorite thing to do in Myrtle Beach?  
Relax on the beach with family.  

How did you choose your job/field of work?     
I had a friend suggest I would be a good fit for a sales job opening. I applied and have worked in sales for over 25 years.  

How long have you lived on the Grand Strand?        
38 years            

How do you (or your business) give back to the community?    
I support our local nonprofits with donations and support.
