Videos promote safety, cleanliness and patience following the pandemic
In advance of the holiday weekend, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau is asking everyone planning to travel to Myrtle Beach to visit the destination responsibly. This includes taking appropriate safety precautions to avoid the spread of COVID-19 and following local ordinances.
MBACVB developed a flyer for businesses to post in their storefronts with reminders to visit responsibly by practicing healthy hygiene, wearing face masks when in public, properly disposing of waste, and maintaining social distance as recommended by the CDC. Printed copies have been distributed to area hospitality businesses and the digital file is available for printing.
MBACVB also created short video messages addressing safety guidelines, local ordinances, and reminders to keep our beaches clean and safe. Visitors will see these messages on the popular Visit Myrtle Beach social channels and website. All five videos are available now on the Responsible Travel YouTube playlist.
Sponsorship provides our investors the opportunity for recognition and publicity. For some events, sponsorship will also include tickets to the event, the opportunity to speak to attendees or to distribute promotional items.
