Open for Business

Grand Strand businesses are reopening. See the list of businesses under Gov. McMaster’s order that are still closed.

Some stores and retail establishments have adjusted hours to allow staff to restock and do additional cleaning.

  • Costco, Mon-Fri 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Sat 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m., Sun 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Costco will open 9-10 a.m. Mon-Fri for members ages 60 and older and people with disabilities. Only members who meet this criteria will be able to shop during these hours. Guests will not be admitted. Costco is temporarily allowing priority access to our warehouses during all open hours for Costco members who are health care workers and first responders such as police officers, EMTs and firefighters. Health care workers (which includes pharmacists and all hospital employees with a hospital ID) and first responders who present a Costco membership card and official identification of their role, will be allowed to move to the front of any line to enter the warehouse. Only members who meet this criteria will be allowed priority access. Face Covering Requirements – To protect our members and employees, all Costco members and guests must wear a face covering that covers their mouth and nose at all times while at Costco. This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 2 or to individuals who are unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition.   • Publix is designating Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, 7- 8 a.m., as senior shopping hours for customers age 65 and over. Store hours: 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Publix is designating Thursday evenings, 8-9 p.m., and Friday mornings, 7-8 a.m., as special shopping hours for first responders and hospital staff.
