Q: Tell us about your business and the role you play in it.
A: PURPLEologist is a trademarked retail business that I created from my love of purple. We have lots of products that are our own designs. I have used my 40 plus years of business, design, photography and retail buying skills to bring a variety of unique and creative purple items to fill our store.
Q: What makes your business unique in its field?
A: We have an entire retail store that is based on a single color-PURPLE, which elicits unexpected smiles on most faces!
Q: Best advice you ever received?
A: Find something you are passionate about and you will never work a day in your life!
Q: How did you choose your job/field of work?
A: The color PURPLE chose me from the age of 3! I have always loved wearing, decorating and photographing purple. Since it was always a hard color to find, years ago I created a business plan to open a business to sell everything purple!
Q: Anything else you want to share about your business?
A: Over the 11 years in business at Barefoot Landing, we are proud of our growing following of purple lovers.
