As executive vice president of finance, I oversee all accounting, financial statements, accountability reporting, the annual audit and 990 tax return, finance policies, ensure the chamber is following all applicable laws associated with our restricted funds, and manage the finance division and three staff members. It's a world of numbers, reports, and spreadsheets!
Chocolate! But I also love Italian – pasta is so divine! Mexican food is a close second.
I love Earl Gray tea with lots of sugar and lemon.
How do you give back to the community?
My passion is children's issues and education. Having adopted twice, I try to support adoption laws that can one day be more favorable to the child's needs and in their best interest. I am also very excited that the MB area has some really great school options that my children can explore. I am an advocate for animal rights and a supporter of the arts as well.
