Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to bring this women’s conference to The Beach for the third year. The Ignite Women’s Conference is presented by Tidelands Health and is a full-day conference held at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

The mission of this chamber program is to empower and support women in our community by providing opportunities to connect and exchange ideas, celebrate accomplishments and champion growth and success.

Think Pink: Taking Charge of Your Breast Health

In the United States, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime. As we kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, join this discussion to hear from Tidelands Health experts to get the latest information on breast cancer risk factors, the importance of early detection, advances in breast cancer treatment and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to get your questions answered by our physician panel.

Mental Exoneration

This session will take you through the life of a woman who found resilience in a dark place through perseverance and hope. It depicts the life of a young girl who was mentally incarcerated for years. She was thrust into repetitive sexual abuse beginning at an incredibly early age and continuing through adolescence. You’ll hear how she learned to stop blaming herself and how she transformed her abuse into a source of help and hope for others who have been abused and trafficked.

Golf Fore Women

Get ready to golf with this session. You’ll get comfortable with etiquette rules, terminology and do’s and dont’s so you can confidently play golf for business and fun.

Tickets are now on sale for the third annual Ignite Women’s Conference in Myrtle Beach.

Tickets cost $150 per person for chamber members and $175 for non-members.

Exhibit

Limited space is available for exhibitors to showcase and sell their products and services during the conference. Exhibitors must be members of the chamber. Booths include a 8-foot black skirted table and two chairs and two tickets to the conference. Booths must be set up by 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 4 and cannot be torn down before 3 p.m.
