GSYP is a group for young professionals (ages 21-40) in the Grand Strand area with the purpose of engaging and connecting existing and future young professionals.
Our goal is to provide members with exclusive networking activities, workshops, and resources that foster their personal and professional development, thus empowering and enriching the Grand Strand business community by attracting and retaining young professionals. GSYP is led by a volunteer council that supports the organization.

Get ready for some friendly competition! We’re hosting a mini golf tournament at Mt. Atlanticus on Friday, Nov. 7. Proceeds from the event will support our charity event, Substitutes for Santa.
Level up your leadership skills with Grand Strand Young Professionals’ Elevate Series, featuring six workshops designed intentionally for emerging leaders, early-career professionals, and anyone ready to lead with purpose.
Each February we host an oyster roast in Murrells Inlet with all you can eat oysters and live music. Chicken bog also is served. All proceeds benefit Substitutes for Santa.
Held each December in partnership with SOS Care, Substitutes for Santa provides a magical Christmas experience for more than 100 local children in Horry County. The children are first taken to Fun Warehouse for games and pizza, then they are taken to Walmart to buy Christmas presents. Each child also is sent home with a bag of necessary household items.
Sponsorship opportunities are now available for our 2026 Substitutes for Santa event.
