Time to celebrate
Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
A grand opening, an expansion, an anniversary or a move to a new facility is made more special with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. If you’re a home-based business, give us a call and we’ll hold a special ceremony here at the chamber just for you!
Celebrate Local Ribbon-Cuttings
There are many benefits to having a ribbon-cutting ceremony for your business. Ribbon-cutting announcements are included in the chamber’s weekly e-newsletter, the Grand Strander, and photos from the event are posted on the chamber’s Facebook page. The chamber’s ambassadors attend ribbon-cutting ceremonies on behalf of the investors.
Ribbon-cuttings are scheduled Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and Friday between 9 a.m. and noon. No ceremonies will be scheduled on weekends or holidays.
There is no charge for the chamber ribbon-cutting, and your chamber is happy to help plan a ceremony for your business. It’s a value-added benefit included in your membership dues.
An added bonus is an upgraded ribbon-cutting option for $99. The upgraded ceremony includes:
- Stanchions to hold the ribbon.
- Commemorative plaque.
- A press release or media advisory sent to local media. Your business is responsible for writing the press release. Media coverage is subject to individual news outlets and cannot be guaranteed.
- A video of the ceremony posted as a reel on the chamber’s social media channels (please allow 5-10 business days for the video to be edited).
- Blog post after the ceremony on MyrtleBeachAreaChamber.com.
- Mention in the weekly Grand Strander e-newsletter.
