What does the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce do?

The chamber is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting, protecting and improving business on the Grand Strand. The chamber serves Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Little River, Atlantic Beach, Garden City Beach, Loris, Conway, Aynor, Murrells Inlet, Litchfield Beach, Pawleys Island, Socastee and Carolina Forest. My company is part of the chamber, am I?

Yes. As an employee of a chamber investor business, you have access to all the benefits offered by the chamber.

My company is an investor with the chamber, can I attend events?

Yes! All employees of chamber investor businesses have full access to the chamber benefits including events. We encourage you to register for and attend networking and education classes. View our events calendar and register to attend a chamber event today!

How do I register for events?

Click the register button on the event page to launch the registration form. Complete the registration contact information. Click "Select Items" to adjust the quantity as needed. Click "Attendees" to update additional attendee information. Finish by clicking "Submit Registration."

Logging in at the top of the registration page can save you time. For login credentials or help registering, email loginhelp@visitmyrtlebeach.com.

Can my business host a chamber networking event?

Hosting events is a great way to introduce your business to fellow chamber investors. If you want more information or want to schedule a Business Before, During or After Hours, contact our Director of Events Kema Parsley by calling 843-916-7276 or emailing Kema.Parsley@VisitMyrtleBeach.com.

For ribbon-cutting ceremonies to celebrate grand openings, expansions, anniversaries or moves, fill out the scheduling request form. Please try to submit your request at least two weeks prior to the event to allow enough time for scheduling and promotion.

I'm a member at another Grand Strand area chamber. Does that mean I also am a member at the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce?

No. Though the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce often holds events in conjunction with other area chambers, membership is separate for each chamber.

How can I get my login for the member's only portal?

Email loginhelp@visitmyrtlebeach.com to get your credentials. Please make sure you include your full name and what business(es) you work for.

I am an investor. Do you have a chamber logo I can use on my website?

Yes. You can find a web sticker inside the members only portal. Email loginhelp@visitmyrtlebeach.com if you need login credentials.

How do I submit coupons for my online membership listing?

All investor businesses can add coupons through the member’s only portal by clicking “Add A Coupon.” Coupons listed are available to the public.

How can I become more involved in the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce?

We’re so glad you asked! Here at Myrtle Beach Area Chamber, we offer investors and their employees a range of opportunities to share their expertise and enthusiasm with fellow chamber investors and the community.

We strongly encourage our stakeholders to become familiar faces at the chamber’s events, committee meetings and programs. Can I have a list of member emails?

No.

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce values the privacy of our stakeholders and does not share email addresses. To get information about purchasing a Member-to-Member Email or a membership list with mailing addresses (for physical mail through the postal service), contact Pam Wright, sales manager, by emailing Pam.Wright@VisitMyrtleBeach.com or calling 843-916-7220.

How do I contact other chamber investors?

Chamber mailing lists are available for purchase with mailing addresses and phone numbers. The list does not include email addresses.

I am an investor of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. Can I attend Grand Strand Young Professional events?

GSYP hosts events specifically for young professionals ages 20-40. As part of your investment with MBACC you receive two GSYP memberships for free. Additional memberships may be purchased for $60 per person, due annually.

What events can be posted on the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber calendar?

Chamber sponsored events are listed on the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber website calendar. For example: ribbon-cutting ceremonies, Chamber Academy classes, Business After Hours, chamber committee meetings.

Investor events are listed on our community calendar. Such events include nonprofit fundraisers, community events and job fairs also may be listed. Submit your event. Please note, any events submitted to the community calendar should be open to the public. We recommend submitting at least two weeks prior to your event. How do I do business with Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce?

MBACC entertains bids for services (request for proposals) from time to time based on the needs of the chamber. When there is a match for our business need and your commodity based on the information and capabilities you provide, we will contact you directly. Can I use the chamber's conference rooms to host my own meetings?

No.

Can all investor employees take advantage of chamber benefits?

Yes. All employees have access to chamber benefits as long as the business remains an investor.

How do I find out if a business is a chamber investor?

Search for the business in our directory. Using the advanced search function, queries can be completed with a company name, city, state, website and/or phone number.
