The nonprofit improves the lives of at risk youth on the Grand Strand, with a mission of helping them realize their full potential, every day.
More than 250 young people at risk and in need take advantage of the programs, activities and services provided by the Boys & Girls Club of the Grand Strand. More than 1,400 youth and teens are reached through the club's Community Outreach Program.
About Nonprofit of the Month
Each month, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce announces a nonprofit of the month. This special promotion sponsored by South Atlantic Bank recognizes an outstanding nonprofit that is an investor with Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. The organization displays a banner at their place of business for one month recognizing them as the Nonprofit of the Month. The honor was first awarded to United Way of Horry County in January 2020.
