RE/MAX Southern Shores announced the addition of REALTORS Brad Jordan, Trey White, Lisa Josephs, Don Appell, Susie Hughes, Tammy Culler, Maria Picardi-Kenyon, Natalie Chapman, Kevin Farnham, Robert Fine and Ashley Lamborn to the team of professional sales associates serving Horry and Georgetown counties.

Burr & Forman LLP announced the election of attorney Bhumi Patel to partnership. Patel is a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice group assisting companies, large and small, in navigating various aspects of real estate and business transactions, both commercial and residential. Burr Forman also announced the addition of associate Joe Schillizzi, who joins the General Corporate Litigation group. Schillizzi focuses on assisting clients in general business litigation matters and commercial disputes.

Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union announced that Keli Herring and Haleigh Merrill have been appointed to the positions of AVP of Operations and Marketing Liaison.

Tidelands Health has been selected as an inaugural winner of the Capstone Award, the highest honor presented by the South Carolina Hospital Association and Live Healthy SC, the state’s first-ever health improvement plan. The not-for-profit community health system is one of just two health systems in South Carolina to earn the statewide award for exemplary efforts to improve the health of patients, team members and the community.

Chef Jamie Daskalis, Johnny D’s Waffles and Benedicts, was selected by Gov. Henry McMaster as a 2020 South Carolina Chef Ambassador. Chefs from across the state are nominated each year for the state’s program. Four were chosen for the quality of their provisions and their dedication to incorporating healthy, locally grown ingredients into their menus.

G3 Engineering announced and congratulated Ryan Bergeron, G3 recipient of the 2019 Employee of the Year award. Bergeron, promoted to project manager last quarter, is recognized for his dedication and work ethic. 

Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau won the Destination Award during the Routes Americas 2020 awards ceremony. The annual Routes Americas Awards recognize excellence in airport marketing as chosen by airline professionals.

David F. Honeycutt was recently appointed as Carolina Trust board of directors vice chairman, after former Vice Chairman B. Michael Marlowe, was appointed as the Carolina Trust board chairman.
