Christian Mission Outreach Myrtle Beach is a nonprofit food bank serving the needy of Horry and Georgetown counties. We rely on the monetary donations of individuals and businesses to help them provide food boxes twice a week from their mission at The Lord's Chapel. They serve about 100 families each week.
The nonprofit joined the chamber in 1995.
About Nonprofit of the Month
Each month, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce announces a nonprofit of the month. This special promotion sponsored by South Atlantic Bank recognizes an outstanding nonprofit that is an investor with Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. The organization displays a banner at their place of business for one month recognizing them as the Nonprofit of the Month. The honor was first awarded to United Way of Horry County in January 2020.
Sponsorship provides our investors the opportunity for recognition and publicity. For some events, sponsorship will also include tickets to the event, the opportunity to speak to attendees or to distribute promotional items.
