Downwind Sails Watersports Named August Leading Business Of The Month

Downwind Sails Watersports was named our August Leading Business of the Month sponsored by South State Bank.

It was a beautiful morning on August 9 when you could see all the employees smiling ear to ear as they accepted the award.

Downwind Sails has been in business since 1978. Locally owned and operated, they’re one big family that loves providing vacationers and locals alike with premium watersport activities. With two locations in the city limits of Myrtle Beach, they serve both the north and south end of The Beach. They offer everything you need to make your vacation one to remember or have a fun evening out on the water.

They offer parasailing, jet skis, banana boats, sail boating, kayak and paddle boarding. Everyone from beginners to experts are welcome. Some activities are 10 to 12 minutes like parasailing while others are an hour like renting a jet ski.
