ECHO Named August Nonprofit of the Month

Eastern Carolina Housing Organization is our Nonprofit of the Month sponsored by South Atlantic Bank.

Eastern Carolina Housing Organization (ECHO) is a nonprofit that provides safe, affordable, permanent housing with or without supportive services for families and individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. People with disabilities, veterans, youth, families, and domestic violence victims are all a part of who the organization serves.

About Nonprofit of the Month

Each month, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce announces a nonprofit of the month. This special promotion sponsored by South Atlantic Bank recognizes an outstanding nonprofit that is an investor with Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. The organization displays a banner at their place of business for one month recognizing them as the Nonprofit of the Month. The honor was first awarded to United Way of Horry County in January 2020.
