Yaritza TinocoMyrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to welcome Yaritza Tinoco as community engagement manager.

In this role, Yaritza Tinoco will spearhead the chamber’s resident outreach programs focused on fostering strong relationships with the Grand Strand’s growing population, including newcomers, retired professionals, and business professionals of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

“I’m honored to take on this new position at the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber and contribute to the organization’s mission to promote, protect and improve the 14 communities of the Grand Strand,” Tinoco said. “From volunteering at local charities to advocating for underrepresented communities, I have a passion for connecting with people and assisting those who may require additional resources.”

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Tinoco is especially eager to help bring the resources of the chamber of commerce to the region’s Spanish-speaking community.

She joins the chamber from The Lovely Law Firm in Myrtle Beach, where she served as a litigation and workers compensation paralegal for the past six years as well as the marketing coordinator for the firm for the past four years. Prior to that, she worked as a legal assistant for The Mace Firm in Myrtle Beach.

Tinoco is from Loris, S.C., and now lives in Little River, S.C., with her husband, their son and two dogs. They are active members of the Loris Catholic Church of the Resurrection and enjoy spending time with family at the beach.
