Meet Your Chamber Ambassadors

Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors work to engage new investors by extending the hand of friendship. Our devoted volunteers welcome new local businesses through ribbon-cuttings, greet individuals at networking events and visit investors to make sure they are getting the most out of their chamber investment.

Tell us about your business and the role you play in it.
Beach Nest Interiors uses the power of design to transform even the simplest area into a stunning space. We specialize in creating cozy spaces that evoke the feeling of "home" with a modern, coastal design. I have a passion for design and for creating special spaces that evoke the feeling of home since I was a child rearranging the furnishings in the custom dollhouse that my Nana kept for me at her house. Having spent over 20 years in the building industry specializing in kitchen and bath goods, I love following design trends and working with architects and interior designers to curate unique spaces in the hospitality and multi-family channels. These luxurious designs brought inspiration that I parlayed into my own home, making high end design approachable and functional. I would love to do the same for you. I grew up in the Annapolis, Maryland area which greatly inspired my modern, coastal design style. I spent my childhood sailing, crabbing and enjoying all that the waters along the Chesapeake Bay have to offer. I believe that each home should tell the story of you through collected treasures from the past combined with the modern, clean lines of today. What do you love about being a chamber ambassador?
I absolutely love being a Chamber Ambassador! It has given me to opportunity to form meaningful relationships with other business owners on the Grand Strand, provided opportunities for ongoing education and helped me promote and grow my own personal business.

What's your favorite thing to do in Myrtle Beach?
My favorite thing to do in Myrtle Beach is to walk along the beach. Whether it is collecting seashells, strolling with my family or just taking a moment to breathe in the peace that the ocean brings, you can't beat being near the ocean.

How did you choose your job/field of work?
Owning my own interior decorating company has been a dream of mine for many, many years. I have always had a love for design and fashion. The combination of creative expression and detailed organization marries my natural abilities and interests together perfectly.

How long have you lived on the Grand Strand?
I have lived on the Grand Strand since 2017. My husband’s job brought us here from the Annapolis, Maryland area. We love living at the beach!

How do you (or your business) give back to the community?
Giving back to our community is a huge passion of mine. I volunteer on average 100 hours each month. There are so many great ways to get involved in the Myrtle Beach community and I encourage everyone to find a way to share their gifts and passions with others.

Anything else you want to share about your business?
Beach Nest Interiors offers interior decorating services, but we also love to design kitchens. We can offer complete renovation or new installation services with the help of our licensed contractor team.
