Monteith Construction Corp. celebrated the grand opening of their office near The Market Common in Myrtle Beach on June 21.
Founded in 1998, Monteith Construction is committed to providing its partners with a locally based project approach rooted in collaboration, transparency, strategic problem solving, and delivering an exceptional experience from conceptual design through construction. They have a presence across North and South Carolina and into Virginia with their corporate headquarters in Wilmington, N.C. and offices in Raleigh, Myrtle Beach, and Charleston.
Monteith sees this office as a reflection of the company’s continued investment in the Grand Strand region and its intent to grow operations as a trusted, local contractor. Monteith has a project portfolio of both public and private sector work, ranging from healthcare and higher education to corporate offices and senior living campuses. This office will allow them to continue to grow as the demand for all types of projects has skyrocketed. The Myrtle Beach-based team is currently under construction on multiple projects, most recently beginning work on a luxury amenity center at the Del Webb North Strand active adult community in North Myrtle Beach. They have also done past projects with the Grand Strand and in South Carolina which include Carolina Pines Resort, Coastal Carolina University, Conway Medical Center, Horry-Georgetown Technical College, Liberty Senior Living, Medical University of South Carolina/Medical University Hospital Authority (MUSC/MUHA), PulteGroup’s Del Webb active adult communities, South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Private real estate developer and owner groups.
