MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.—The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to announce the appointment of award-winning Pulse Travel Marketing as the agency of record in Canada for the next four years.

After an extensive RFP process, Pulse Travel Marketing was selected for their exceptional knowledge of the Canadian marketplace, proven track record and creative thinking. With more than 15 years of experience in the travel industry, Rebecca Seeds will serve as the CVB’s account manager working out of Pulse’s Toronto office with support from Sylvie Madore in Québec and additional Pulse team members.

The agency role was previously held by Travel Solutions by Design, which successfully promoted the Myrtle Beach area as a top travel destination for Canadians over the past 14 years.

“Canadians have always loved Myrtle Beach as their ‘second home’ and their closest warm-water beach destination with so much to offer. We’re excited to be working with the Pulse team who is ready to use their expertise and creativity to expand upon The Beach’s long-standing tradition of welcoming our Canadian friends,” said Karen Riordan, MBACC and CVB president and CEO.

Travel to the U.S. from Canada has already surpassed pre-pandemic levels and is expected to continue to grow in 2024, according to data released by the U.S. Travel Association in June. While Canadians visit Myrtle Beach throughout the year, the peak season is winter with the 63rd Annual Can Am Days in Myrtle Beach set for March 9-17, 2024.
