The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is encouraging visitors to “Beach with the Best'' as part of a new multimedia campaign released this summer in various out-of-state markets.

Beach with the Best shares how a Myrtle Beach vacation brings out your best self no matter the activity and is one of many marketing promotions by the CVB designed to drive awareness and demand for the destination by reflecting the excitement and fun you experience when here at The Beach.

“Myrtle Beach is The Beach with tons of activities and fun, and a welcoming, laidback attitude that gives travelers the chance to be their best selves. We want visitors to know that there’s a better way to beach, and that’s in Myrtle Beach,” explained Karen Riordan, MBACC and CVB President and CEO.

Part of the campaign includes TV spots showcasing the best “beachers” in Myrtle Beach through the lens of two charismatic sportscasters who provide amusing play-by-plays of people’s remarkable execution of typical vacation activities such as going to the beach, playing mini golf, go-kart racing, pool headstands and more.

“Since its release, the campaign has seen an overwhelming positive response. The colorful, comedic tone we’re using in messaging reflects our playful beach culture and allows us to stand out in a landscape where it’s increasingly difficult to grab someone’s attention,” said Stuart Butler, the CVB’s chief marketing officer.
