Pine Lakes Country Club is Myrtle Beach's first golf course and is the birthplace of Sports Illustrated. The club opened in 1927 and planted the seeds for the Myrtle Beach to become a top golf destination.
In the last year, Pine Lakes has refurbished the greens of the course originally designed by architect Robert White, who was a founding member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects and the first president of the PGA of America.
Less than half a mile from the ocean, Pine Lakes is par 70 course with generous fairways and views of the Myrtle Beach skyline.
