Registration Now Open for 2022 Cornament Benefiting Substitutes for Santa

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.—Grand Strand Young Professionals (GSYP) is pleased to announce that the second-annual Cornament presented by SkyWheel Myrtle Beach will take place on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Crooked Hammock Brewery at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Proceeds from the cornhole tournament will support Substitutes for Santa, an annual charity experience that provides 150 local children with gifts and supplies for Christmas.

“The Cornament will be an entertaining way for competitors and spectators to raise money for Substitutes for Santa, which is a unique program that provides Horry County youth with a holiday adventure consisting of games, crafts and a shopping experience,” said Caroline Yahnis, GSYP liaison for the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. 

Teams of two who would like to compete may register for $50 per team by Oct. 14. There will be both an amateur and professional league bracket. Awards will be given to the top placing teams in each division. Tournament spectators can purchase tickets for $15 each.
