The Blood Connection's mission is to support the local healthcare partners with adequate, safe, cost-effective blood supplies and services.
We are proud to partner with The Blood Connection to host community blood drives. We held the first of six in our parking lot last week.
Across our last three blood drives, The Blood Connection was able to collect 43 units helping to save 129 lives in our community.
The five remaining drives are scheduled for April 1, June 3, July 29, Sept. 23 and Nov. 18. Each drive will offer up to 36 appointments, available to anyone who wishes to donate. Participants must register in advance at TheBloodConnection.org/MBACC. Donors will receive a $20 eGift card for participating and all donations will be used locally at one of the four hospitals in the Grand Strand.
