Tidelands Health Named March Leading Business of the Month

Tidelands Health is the largest health care provider in Horry and Georgetown counties. With four hospitals and nearly 60 outpatient locations, Tidelands Health is delivering superior health care to the people of the Tidelands region.

Over the last year, Tidelands Health partnered with S.C. DHEC to hold multiple, free COVID-19 testing events as well as a couple drive-through flu vaccination clinics. Their staff also participated in several education events with your Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce providing updates on the pandemic, sharing best practices and helping sort myth from fact.

Tidelands Health will be marking the anniversary of the health system's first COVID-19 case on March 16 with "Lights to Remember, Hope for Tomorrow" - a luminary observance. Luminaries will shine outside four Tidelands Health locations to pay tribute to those who have lost their lives to the virus, offer thanks for those who have recovered, honor the region's health care heroes and celebrate the promise of the COVID-19 vaccine. Each location will display more than 700 luminaries.

Every month, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce announces a Leading Business of the Month. This special promotion, sponsored by South State Bank, recognizes a company that has been a member of Myrtle Beach Area Chamber for a minimum of five years. The business is randomly selected.
