New Directions Needs Volunteers & Food

Volunteers
A lot of their groups have pulled out and they are very short staffed for dinners and lunches. They have dinner dates open for every night from 6-8  p.m. and every lunch date open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Food
Also if anyone knows of local restaurants that have closed down but still have food they need to get rid of, please let them know about the shelter. They are also struggling with food donations, so any restaurant that can deliver food to them either ready to eat or just left over would be so helpful for them.

Native Sons wants to help the local people who are in need while continuing to help and support our own employees.

We have created an online fundraising store to help raise money for servers, bartenders and other staff that are suddenly out of work. When purchasing “Support Our Servers” T-shirt from the online store and you select your favorite restaurant or bar as the business to receive the proceeds. The restaurant decides how best to disburse these funds to their employees. We want to raise thousands of dollars for families that need help in our community!

The online store will raise money restaurant employees and also help Native Sons employees by having shirts to print. It’s a Win-Win! The T-shirt will cost $25 plus shipping. The selected business will receive $15 per shirt. Native Sons will use the remaining $10 to pay for the cost of the shirt and the cost of the labor and materials to print the shirts and fulfill the orders.
