The need for qualified workers to fill positions at our businesses along the Grand Strand has become a conversation and headline over the past few weeks. Join Karen Riordan, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, as she discusses the initiatives being taken to connect employers with potential staff. She also will be joined by Rusty Gaskins of the Waccamaw Council of Government and Kim Burke with SC Department of Employment and Workforce who will detail tips for recruiting as well as services and programs businesses can tap into for assistance. Julie Golden with Horry Georgetown Technical College also will share information about Apprenticeship Carolina.
