Zavier Jones Joins Visit Myrtle Beach Group Sales Team as Experience Coordinator

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.—The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to announce Zavier Jones has joined Visit Myrtle Beach’s group sales team as the experience coordinator.

In his new role, Jones will collaborate with the group sales team to create unforgettable experiences for meeting and event planners during their destination and venue site inspections and familiarization (FAM) tours, as well as during their meetings or events held within the Myrtle Beach area.

“As the group sales experience coordinator, Zavier will showcase the destination’s unique selling points and customize offerings to meet the specific needs of the various groups who come here for events from large conventions and sports tournaments to weddings, golf outings and family reunions,” said Bob Harris, Visit Myrtle Beach’s executive vice president of group sales.

Jones brings valuable hospitality experience to the CVB team, having previously worked for Hiton Hotels and Resorts as a Sales Coordinator. He earned his bachelor’s degree in public health from Coastal Carolina University (CCU) and is currently pursuing a master’s in clinical psychology from Webster University with goals to defeat the stigma of mental health and athletes.

He has a passion for sharing his experiences as a college and high school football player with rising athletes and since 2010, has served as the Assistant League Commissioner for the S.C. Youth Flag Football Association.
