Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful was awarded the SCLCA's Lower Region Group Leadership Award in recognition of the organization’s “remarkable leadership in promoting litter awareness, prevention and clean up for the State of South Carolina.”
Volunteers are needed to spruce up the park’s stone planter box by removing weeds and planting flowers as well as removing any litter from nearby roadways.

Included in the grant is $800 for lawn and garden tools and $600 for flowers to assist with beautification projects throughout the City of Myrtle Beach.
